Add a manual time entry in Givver

Record working hours manually when clocking was missed

If clocking in or out does not work, or if you forget to clock in, you can still record your hours manually in the Givver web app.

Manual time entries are added to your timesheet and count in the same way as clocked time, helping ensure your working hours are still recorded accurately.

🛠️ Open your timesheet

  1. Go to "My profile"

  2. Select "My Timesheet + Rota"

  3. In the "Time tracking" section, click "Add entry"

➕ Add your entry details

In the "Add Manual Time Entry" window:

  1. Select the date

  2. Review the worksite

  3. Add the start and end time for your working hours

  4. Add a work description if needed

The worksite is taken from your employee profile and cannot be changed from this window.

☕ Add a break

If you took a break during your shift:

  1. Click "Add break"

  2. Enter the break start and end time

The break will be shown separately from your working time.

🧩 Add another work period

If you worked more than one period during the same day:

  1. Click "Add work period"

  2. Enter the start and end time for the additional work period

This is useful if you worked a split shift or paused and resumed work later.

🧾 Review the summary

Before saving, check:

  1. Total working time

  2. Total break time

  3. Date

  4. Worksite

💾 Save the manual entry

  1. Review the details

  2. Click "Add entry"

The manual entry will be added to your timesheet.

📋 Review your timesheet

After saving, the entry will appear in your timesheet timeline alongside:

  1. Scheduled shifts

  2. Clocked time
