Pension policies allow you to configure pension settings once and apply them consistently to the relevant employees. You can create different policies for each entity, automatically assign a default policy during onboarding and manage individual exceptions when required.

How the default pension policy works
You can create as many pension policies as needed. Each policy is linked to an entity, and one policy can be selected as the default for each entity. When you add a new employee, Givver automatically assigns the default pension policy belonging to their selected entity. The automatically assigned policy can be changed during onboarding or later from the employee’s profile.
Assign a pension policy during onboarding
Go to People Onboarding.
Add the new employee and select their Entity.
Givver automatically populates the Pension policy field with the default policy for that entity.
Review the selected policy.
If the employee needs a different policy, open the Pension policy field and select another one.
Complete the remaining employee information and click Save.
Only pension policies belonging to the employee’s selected entity will appear in the list. If you change the employee’s entity, review the pension policy again before saving.
Assign existing employees from the pension policy
You can also assign existing employees directly from the pension policy.
Go to Admin Panel.
Under Pay, open Pension.
Select the pension policy you want to manage.
Open Edit employee assignments.
Use the search bar to find a specific employee or switch between:
Assigned: Employees currently assigned to the policy.
Unassigned: Employees who are not assigned to the policy.
Select the checkbox next to each employee you want to assign.
To remove an employee from the policy, clear their checkbox.
Click Save Changes.
Only employees belonging to the same entity as the pension policy will appear.
Each employee can have only one active pension policy in Givver. Assigning an employee to a new policy will end their previous policy assignment.
Update an employee’s pension settings
The policy contains the default settings applied to all employees assigned to it.
If an employee needs different pension settings, open their profile and update their pension information individually.
Changes made from the employee’s profile apply only to that employee and do not change the original pension policy.
